Corosha is located in the northeastern cloud forests of Peru, in the region of Amazonas. An altitude of 1,900 - 3,050 meters provides this area with a refreshingly cool and wet climate. Temperatures average from 11 - 20ºC. Come prepared with warm clothes and rain gear!

Home to about 200 families, our small community offers tourists a chance to experience our rich culture by participating in our homestay program. Two members of our women's group, “Asociación para la Promoción del Turismo y Conservación de Corosha” will provide comfortable housing and delicious meals. We will gladly accommodate any dietary restrictions/preferences.

The community's guide association is comprised of 14 knowledgeable guides who will enthusiastically take you through the cloud forests of Corosha. A tour will be customized to your interests and which species and landscapes you wish to see.
